Treatment addresses not just the need for abstinence, but the emotional and character logical and family issues that underlie and have been intensified by the problem. Other problems such as financial, work-related, and legal problems may have been produced by gambling.

The initial appointment is an opportunity to obtain information about you and your concerns. It is an opportunity for you to meet your therapist and see if you are comfortable with the therapist. Please bring valid identification and a copy of your insurance card to the initial session (if applicable).
State funds are available for outpatient treatment services for compulsive gamblers, their families and/or significant others. Michigan residents who qualify will be able to have all or part of the cost of outpatient treatment paid if they meet the clinical diagnosis for compulsive gambling. The NSO Gambling Treatment program is funded by the Michigan Department of Community Health.
